Skills for learning at home

This page has a list of the skills students might find helpful to be able to learn at home.

Log in to G Suite

This is important because if you can't do this you can't access many other online tools. Follow these steps:

    1. Go to google.com and click the sign in button at the top right.
    2. Type in your username (in this format _________) and password.
    3. If you have forgotten your username or password, you will need a parent to email your teacher.

Please make sure you follow our values/guidelines for what you write into your emails messages.

Send or reply to an email

  1. Once logged into Gmail, click the Compose button top left.
  2. Type the name or email of the person/people you wish to send an email to.
  3. Give it a subject.
  4. Write your email in the body of the email.

Use Hangout Chat

There are two ways to do this: from inside your gmail inbox, or by going to hangouts.google.com

  1. Inside Gmail look for the sidebar on the right of your inbox.
  2. From there you can create a instant message conversation with another student, or a group of students.
  3. You can also create a video meeting by clicking the little video icon.
