Help - Getting Started with G Suite

This page gives you some key tips for getting started with the staff portal area. This portal is run through a cloud-based system called G Suite for Education.

G Suite comprises a number of core services - mail, docs, calendar, sites and other tools such as Google Plus, Groups and more. It is a highly flexible and very powerful system.

Follow these steps to get started:

  1. Download and install Google Chrome, this will give you a much better experience.
  2. Open Chrome and type in: staff.yourschool.school.nz in to the address bar (not the search field). This will redirect you to log in with a user name and password.
  3. Your username is your email address and your password is set by the administrator.
